Install ssh and ssh-server packages

# yum install openssh openssh-server 
  • Example:
# yum install openssh openssh-server
Loaded plugins: langpacks, refresh-packagekit
Package openssh-6.4p1-3.fc20.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Package openssh-server-6.4p1-3.fc20.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do

Enable, start and stop daemons

Enable the daemon to start automatically at the boot time:

# systemctl enable sshd.service

To start the sshd daemon:

# systemctl start sshd.service

To stop the running sshd daemon:

# systemctl stop sshd.service
